Thomas R. Wait has traveled throughout the United States meeting with superintendents and listening to their unsolved maintenance problems they face today. From those meetings, Tom has invented and patented many revolutionary products for the golf course and turf industry.

The one he is most proud of, because of the severity of the problem, is the Greens Encroachment Barrier System, conceived in May 1988. Since that time Thomas R. Wait has been personally committed to perfecting one of the most revolutionary products the golf course industry has ever seen. Encroachment problems affect thousands of golf courses around the world and cause millions of dollars in damage to putting surfaces each year.

Thomas R. Wait and Paul R. Latshaw are two people who are dedicated to the golf industry. The development and perfection of a cost effective product that stops greens encroachment is one example of that.

Paul R. Latshaw's career spans over 30 years. His accomplishments are many. He is most famous for his reputation of getting golf courses into championship condition and pushing bent grass greens to their full limit. Paul R. Latshaw is the only superintendent in the world today to host nine U.S. major golf tournaments: two U.S. Senior Opens, one PGA Championship, and four Masters Tournaments. He has recently resigned as Superintendent of Winged Foot Golf Club in Mamaroneck, NY to pursue his own consulting business.

Paul R. Latshaw has played an important part in the development and perfection of Greens Encroachment Barrier since it's conception in May of 1988 and continues his support by offering his advice and expertise.
